The Ivillage Foundation seeks to support young people, especially young women to be able to further their educational ambitions. Many a time’s young people cannot access higher education or tertiary education due to lack of financial support. This is partly due to the fact that the cost of higher education in South Africa continues to increase the fees of higher education / further education and training.
This initiative will offer full or partial scholarship to young people who wish to continue their education at the higher level.
The Foundation will support has supported two of Soweto Student to get bursaries with a One (1) year scholarship to the cost of R20 000.00 each. Such an initiative has sparked from the donations made by the Richfield Graduate Institute which has made Zandile Nhlapo to go back to complete her first year which she dropped out due to financial problems.
The Foundation hopes to continue to support Zandile Nhlapo and other young persons (male & female) who have such difficulties.
